This policy is to inform staff and clients of the way Work Skills charges, collects and refunds fees.
Fees are payable by Client/Student for any training, assessing and Recognition of Prior Learning when not funded by the State Government by way of User Choice . Work Skills has a 4 Step process.
1. Work Skills receive notification from the Client. Delivery methodology and costs are discussed. Information is sent to the Client in the form of Information Brochures (these are also found on the Work Skills website www.workskills.com.au).
2. Work Skills develops a “Service Level Agreement” (SLA) when the Client is ready to enrol. This agreement states all the conditions, cost and payment methods. This needs to be signed in agreement to the terms and returned to Work Skills.
3. Once Work Skills has received the signed SLA, an invoice is sent to the Client for the amount of $500.00 as an enrolment fee. If the total amount payable for our service is under $500.00, then the amount payable will be the whole amount quoted.
4. When Work Skills receives payment for the enrolment fee, Work Skills will contact the Client and arrange an appointment to start the enrolment sign up and start the program.
Fees are charged after the successful completion of each unit of competence.
Refund
A refund of the enrolment fee will only be payable if Work Skills does not complete the enrolment process. In this case all funds will be refunded except a $100.00 Administration fee.
As all other fees are collected after all training and assessments have been completed, there will be no refunds required.
