Who can do an apprenticeship or traineeship?
Just about anyone who wants to learn and earn is able to do an apprenticeship or traineeship including:
- Anyone over the age of 16 whose workplace is in Queensland
- High school students, usually in grades 11 or 12
- People who are already working who can use an apprenticeship or traineeship to recognise their skills or build on their knowledge
- People working in Queensland who are Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, have a permanent residency visa, a temporary protection visa or are engaged or married to an Australian citizen and are holders of provisional spouse visas under subclass 820 and 309.
