Bradley Byrne has been the Hospitality teacher for St Eugene College where they “dare to grow in faith, hope and love” for 10 years and has been collaborating with Work Skills to provide the best in class educational experience for his students who are studying their Certificate II in Hospitality.
Amanda Dipple makes sure that everyone has the best of the best when it comes to meals at TriCare Sunnybank Hills, especially now that Amanda has recently completed her Certificate III in Commercial Cookery with us at Work Skills. TriCare is an aged care facility that ensures a relaxing stay for all its residents. This particular centre has been open for three years now and they pride themselves on offering fine dining, restaurant quality meals to their residents.
Young Veterans plans to support veterans aged between 20-60, and Adrian is providing an outlet for them to get out and about and do some hands-on at his body shop Boss Customs in Redland Bay. Boss Customs can do full restorations, engine conversions, body work, in fact whatever the customer requires. Their motto is “Bringing today’s automotive technology into yesterday’s vehicles.”
Sometimes in the modern world of knife-less kitchens and premade sauce packets, it can be difficult for the new generation of apprentices to get the hands-on experience they need to thrive. For that reason Work Skills hosted our first Snap Training Class in our restaurant grade kitchen facilities on Friday the 2nd of November.
